Just check the water level and it will be good.

If your battery goes dead it doesn't necessarily need to be replaced. It just needs to be recharged. Cleaning the posts with a thick mixture of baking soda and water is a good idea too(add just enough water to make the soda into a paste).

Chances are, you left on a light or something and it drained the battery. No big deal.

If you're really worried about the battery going dead again, Get a battery buddy. http://www.batterybuddy.com/

Another good thing to do is go to one of your local parts stores like advance or autozone and have them test the alternator and the battery. They do it for free.

id try cleaning the cables and charging it back up,if it don't hold a charge then replace it,usually when one goes out its on its last days, but occasionally they will go dead because of a bad connection,if its over 4 years old replace it,don't chance it getting you out somewhere and leaving you stranded, good luck.
Depends upon how old your battery is. If it's 5 years old, get rid of it. Go to Sears and have them put in one of their DieHards. I've gotten good recommendations for those from my mechanic friends. They're about as good a battery as you're going to get.

But if your battery is quite new, then clean the posts with baking soda and water - lots of water - don't get that stuff in your eyes, ok?
Make sure the battery has sufficient water in it and put it on a battery charger. If it's a maitnance free battery, you can't check the water. You can have it load tested at a shop as well. Chances are it's still good. Just make sure your alternater is working as well.
Go to autozone or automotive store near you and you can usually get your battery checked. While you're there, get your alternator checked too. Then you will know if it's your battery, your alternator, or neither.
The battery should not die on its own, but if its run dead a couple of times it will be compromised. From your description its hard to tell if your battery was just drained (lights left on), you have bad connections at the terminals or your starter may be bad.
not necessarily if it goes flat again quickly you probably do but also check that the battery light is off when the engine is running if its on then youmay need to change the alternator as this may not be charging the battery
check you water level in battery MAKE SURE YOU USE DISTILLED WATER
no it just means u need a new battary
