Checked altenator and changed battery and starter is new but car still wont start can anyone help?

86 buick somerset-had new battery tested and is loss its charge after trying to crank carChecked altenator and changed battery and starter is new but car still wont start can anyone help?First, make sure all your wires coming from the battery, alternator, and starter are all clean, tight and corrosion free. Be sure the ground is in good shape and is bolted securely to the block. Then, check the voltage of the power wire at the distributor with the key in the ignition in the on position, there should be 12 volts. If the car will rotate but not start, remove one of the spark plugs and attach it to the spark plug wire, have some one try to start it while you hold the spark plug electrode close to grounded metal and you should see a spark. If not you have a faulty distributor component. also check or replace the ignition switch.

There are four things required for an engine to start

1) fuel

2) spark

3) compression

4) timing

if the car is cranking... but not starting then your starter is fine. Check to make sure you are getting fuel into the engine, spark into the engine, and make sure the timing of both of these is correct. Then check to make sure you have adequate compression. You won't make it past that unless you didn't check something thoroughly enough.

ground cable...hello sparky..and then there's a neutral safety switch in the tranny...no not the ugly that dress himself in his mothers dresses...good luck..and don't forget the ignition coil..as well..
I had the same problem on an old ford, the wiring to the alternater had to be replaced.
There are many different reasons why it might not start. A few things to check might be if you are getting a good connection, all of the parts might be good but if the connection between them is bad then it does you no good. You can also have a mechanic check your computer because that will cause your car not to start as well.
check the solinoid either on the fender or on the distributor
