Replace regular car battery with a kinetik battery or no?

I just got a kinetik battery and it's a hc-1400. when I test it with my multimeter it only shows 6 volts. I know that regular car batteries have 12V. can I use this battery on my car as a replacement? or not? and is there anything I need to know about changing the battery so that I dont mess something up?

you dont wanna add another battery, with the kinetic power cells they are meant to replace your current car battery and not be added

You can use it as a replacement, but it might be better to keep your regular battery %26amp; add the kinetic near your amp if you can find a good place to mount it. There are instructions on kinetic's website of how to add their batteries.

First, make sure it will charge to 12volts. The person you got it from might've used it so much that it's now bad.

I just installed the same battery in my car, I got a battery charger and did a full charge on it first. I works great. I can run my radio at medium level for 20 minutes and only drops .2 volts.
If it is not a 12 volt battery it won't work.
