Can I use this kind of battery as a replacement for my original car battery?

I just got a kinetik battery and it's a hc-1400. when I test it with my multimeter it only shows 6 volts. I know that regular car batteries have 12V. can I use this battery on my car as a replacement? or not? and is there anything I need to know about changing the battery so that I dont mess something up?Can I use this kind of battery as a replacement for my original car battery?you need 12 volt car battery for the cranking amperage

It simply won't work. Six volts is not enough, nothing on your car will work. You need a 12V battery. The red cable goes on the (+) post and the black cable goes on the (-) post. Hook up black cable last.

I would not try to use this battery. It is highly recommended to use a car battery that is equivalent to the original battery that came with this vehicle, to avoid any problems.
Sorry you cannot use a 6v in a 12v system unless you use 2 in series to double the voltage.
You CAN NOT use the 6 volt battery~ that is for a lawn mower type of vechicle your car will not run on that. When you do change the battery dissconnect the black cable first than the red, and make sure the cables are nice and clean when they are put back together. Also make sure they are put on nice and tight again they will pop off otherwise. Don't know where you are from but I know there are alot of places that if you buy the battery there they install it for free~Even like WalMart. Good Luck!
