Make sure the new battery was fully charged from the auto parts store. Disconnect and reconnect the battery cables and then see if you have lights, windshield wipers, radio operating. If not with a good battery and good battery cables, then I'd suspect a %26quot;fusible link%26quot; has burned out. That's a wire that leads from the battery to the fuse box that has a fuse in it. sure you got wires on tight sure battery doesnt need charging have you tried jump starting new battery
